Agents / established artists – The Hobart Comedy Festival is a curated event and the annual program is quite small and specific. It is not like Melbourne or Edinburgh with multiple shows in multiple venues. In Hobart, the majority of the acts appear on the one bill together in ‘spots’. Big name guests may get to do their own show, but the majority will appear together on the one bill, even the big guns. For the record, Hobart’s population is less than 200,000 people. Do not send us a rationale for your own seven-night run at a venue. We know what this unique, tiny market can deliver.
